About Betsy's Cheese Straws

Thank you for your interest in our products. My daughter-in-law, Ashley, and I have been in business since 1998 and still get excited when hearing from potential customers.

It all started in my kitchen one day when my son, Bob, told me how wonderful my cheese straws were and that I ought to sell them. Ashley, not married to Bob yet, said "Yeah, I can help you with the marketing." That was all it took to get the ball rolling. Through many experimental batches and much prayer, we have developed our seven exciting flavors.

Our bakery is in Millbrook, Alabama, a small town outside Montgomery. We have 6 year round employees, two who have been with us for over 5 years. Our unofficial motto is "We want our cheese straws to look and taste just like mother's."

Our straws are made with butter, all natural ingredients and no preservatives giving them a smooth, crisp taste. Try them and you'll see why they have been a tradition in my family for generations.
